Possession Certificate

Possession Certificate is getting only for the land owners. It means the applicant should have own land with the Tax receipt from the corresponding Village offices. It is not only for the Loan purpose issued from the bank but also to get the land asset details of the applicant.

Possession Certificate is issued from Taluk Office for the public is required them for the outside state purpose and issued from Village Offices for the inside state purpose.

Usually Latest Land Tax receipt is mandatory for the application. It requires Pattayam or

Sales Deed or Certificate of Purchase from the registration Department and also requires Aadhaar Card to know personal details of the applicant. Building Tax Receipt or Ration Card is required to know the residence of the applicant. 

Application is always submitted to the village where the land of the corresponding tax receipts.

Usually the service charge for General category is Rs 25/- and for SC or ST is Rs.15/-. Applicant should be given other additional charges for Print/ Copy/ Scanning per sheet for obtaining the certificate.

Possession Certificate is issued for a specific purpose to a concerned authority required for applicant.
